TikTok is Changing The Game For Us Girlies

With TikTok fast becoming many female users most reliable source of "levelling up" information, it's no surprise that women worldwide are bossing up and changing their lives through sharing on this beautiful platform we all know and love. If you aren't reaping the rewards, i'll show you how in this article.

From the"Sprinkle Sprinkle" club to Drew Afualo's legendary war on misogyny to Astrology transits and Finance/ Fitness Gurus sharing best practices, women are truly bossing at everything on the platform.. In just 4 years the platform has grown to such exponential heights that the world is listening to the world, real time.. what does that mean for us? Well, it means that we all have the exact same opportunity to do the very same thing - GROW, and fast. With ANYTHING.

I have seen many friends and fellow creators grow from viewers to 6 figure earnings creators and rise to fame with brand deals by simply sharing their opinions.. this is serious opportunity and its available to anyone who wants to try.. you can too!

How?? It's easy. ASK TIKTOK! Really. ask.

Feel like you don't know where to start? TikTok got you covered. Whatever your passion is, even lesser known things you wouldn't think could possibly garner a following, be it "stamp collection" or "trying perfume samples" honey, if you're into it, then there is probably a community talking about it online waiting for your unique personality to join the rabble! this also means there is a way to turn your passion into a page and even a business on and through TikTok - and theres definitely someone on the platform to teach you how.. find your people! Sometimes watching rather than creating can make you feel like there are barriers that aren't a large as you think and more often, a few correct searches away, the answers are all right there on the platform.

Not many know that TikTok is a search engine like any other (google, youtube, pinterest etc) so finding what you need is a matter of making sure you're being specific so the TikTok SEO (search engine optimisation) will yield your results based on the accuracy of what you type.. this needn't be anything lengthy, even a few key words that will pull up what you're searching for;

Have an idea but don't know how to see it through? Search "how to use ai to plan ____" or "how to structure ____ with ai " or "how i motivate myself to finish tasks" or "how to see through your ideas" or more specifically "how to complete a form for _______ " or "how to figure out my goals" or " how to determine my direction in life" or "how to motivate yourself" it really is that simple.. TikTok has you covered for almost anything. If you aren't sure what question to ask, then ask google how to ask the question, between the search engines, they all have you covered and someone on TikTok is at the end of it all to teach you a new angle or hack/ secret knowledge you'll feel enriched to know. :)

TIPS FOR STARTING YOUR OWN TIKTOK PAGE

1) search the hobby/interest/career/community on tiktok, why go anywhere else for advise that i'll bet is on the platform, should always be your first go to and then, reddit, then google or pinterest.

2) Follow others on TikTok in that same field/genre/niche you wanna go or be in and use their hashtags to join the "group" of creators in your field. this helps you become discoverable with other top creators in the niche and easily found by viewers searching for that same content, it's truly about joining a community before you build your own. HOWEVER.. be cautious not to tag with creators personal hashtags.. this is a huge no-no. - a quick check of what's on the hashtags before you use them will save you pissing off bigger content creators and their fans in your community which from experience, is a bad way to make friends on the app and a great way to isolate yourself from the people you wanna connect to!

3) is he most important.. your content MUST be in the field of what your hashtag is! So many people make this mistake and its brutal - you will get shadow-banned, blocked or have limited reach and access to features on the app in the future.. Not worth the drama so DO NOT post content and slap on hashtags to trend if your video is you filming a banana dancing to depeche mode and has nothing to do with the "beyonce" "e-girl" or "makeup" hashtags you used. you won't find fame or community, you'll likely find 0-20 views on all your videos.. forever. yikes.

4) search how to finesse lighting/TikTok content/filing on your phone/common content creation mistakes etc or variations of - this stuff is so important. Learn your platform and make sure you are getting the best possible outcome with whatever phone you have... don't have the money for fancy setups or phones? Not a problem... you gotta find somewhere quiet to film in the day, outside or inside with super bright natural light - there's no other option, never think a video at low light in the house or at night in the house with bad lighting will cut it, this is one of the musts and cant be bypassed unless you already have a good following.

5) If the niche doesn't exist on TikTok yet, create it (bet it does on reddit or somewhere online, find them there and bring them to TikTok!) (be cautious that reddit users are having a mini standoff with reddit rn so many groups may be closed off and set to private till resolved, but i imagine this will be temporary)

Thanks to TikTok and all the sharing ladies on it, I have turned my entire life around (in so many different ways) by connecting to and learning from other women from around the world, all from different backgrounds, ages and lifestyles but we all mostly want the same thing: to share, to love and to level up collectively, you gotta love that for us.
